We made our annual trip to North Georgia a few weeks ago! I LOVE this trip! We got lucky and it turned cool the day we went (been hotter than heck ever since though). We decided to try out a new Apple Orchard this year! We went to
Mercier Orchards. It was wonderful! They had all kind of yummy things for us to snack on. We went on a little hayride out to the orchards to pick our own apples!

Next we headed to
Burt's. If you have never been...it is so worth the drive. There are so many photo ops. It is BEAUTIFUL up there!

For lunch we visited one of my all time favorite restaurants.....
Poole's BBQ! I absolutely LOVE this place. It doesn't look like much but it is oh, so yummy! The first time Keith took me here....I was like "no way am I eating in that dump". (I know I don't look like it but I am VERY picky about what I eat...
lol). He insisted that we go in (he had been there several times before) so I reluctantly let him drag me in! Oh my!!! Not only did I go back for more that day...we got a big container to take home with us! It really is BBQ heaven!
What a fun day we had! I can't wait to plan another trip to the N. GA mountains!! (We missed you Jess and Bailey...hopefully you can come next time!!)

I wished we could have came. We went to a pumpkin patch (if that's what you call it) and they had like 30 pumpkins to choose from. Once you go to Burt's, nothing else compares. I see Addi just had to change outfits in the middle of her adventure. What a Little Diva she is...
