No Freebie Friday today!

Sorry! I am busy, busy this week getting ready for a surprise party for Keith's 40th birthday (shhh...don't tell him). I am on my way out the door right now to pick up the rest of the decorations! Not to mention, we have out of town company and this darn consignment sale hanging over my head that is just a little over a week away (still need a TON of hangers if anyone has some)!

But you can still sign up for SWAGBUCKS! I have had several friends who have FINALLY jumped on the bandwagon and are earning $$ every day just fro searching the web 9something that we all do countless times a day anyway). I am about to cash mine in for a $50 Amazon gift card...which will come in super handy at Christmas time! Go here to sign up!

Also, if anyone gets PARENT magazine and is not using the Amazon coupon diaper code that is in the August or September issue.....PLEASE send it my way. There is a great deal going on right now to get diapers cheap...if you want more info, let me know!!!!! I need as many as I can get!

Scrapbook Online Sale will probably be going on for the rest of the weekend. Remember, everything is $1 off. Still lots of good and cheap stuff left! You can check it out right here!

Have a great weekend and check back for pics of the party!!! He has no idea so we are sooo excited to pull this off! I will leave you with a few random shots from the past couple weeks!

Drew made this PEACE sign from his leftover pizza crust at dinner one night. He insisted I post it on the blog!

The night we were supposed to go to the rodeo. It rained, so we took Drew, Addison and the blond sisters to Chuck E Cheese instead!
Just a cute Addi pic (if I do say so myself).

The 3 year old little girl I babysit is battling eye cancer. Malena had to have her eye removed. This is her and a hockey player at her fund raiser last weekend!I walked in Addi's room the other day and this is what I found. She was trying to put a diaper on her baby! PREC-IOUS!!!!

*****Today is Mega Swagbucks Day! Go here to sign up!******
Swagbucks has stepped up their program lately and are now giving away even more bucks and many more times a day than before. I think I have accumulated close to $85 in Amazon gift cards just for searching the web…something I do anyway! You are really missing out if you are not searching through Swagbucks!

~If you hurry over to Charlotte Russe- you can score ladies t-shirts for just $1.99. I tested the deal and they had plenty of sizes available in just a few select colors. Shipping to CA was $5.99 so this is a good deal if you want to get a few shirts.
Just head on over to Charlotte Russe to see all the styles and colors available. You should see some t-shirts and tank tops priced at $2.99 in different styles.
Add them to your cart and use promo code: BASICTEE at checkout. the price will drop to $1.99 each!
This sale should run for a few days but I am thinking they might sell out before then- so I wouldn’t wait to order.

~You can get a free sample of Nexxus haircare courtesy of Walmart. The nice thing about these samples is that they do come very quickly!

~Sam’s Club is offering a free sample of size 3-5 Dry Max diapers right now. You can fill out the form without a Sam’s Club membership but I have found they won’t mail them out. So for sure Sam’s Club members can get this freebie.

~I have a few new codes for Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards:
BGQGJ-PQZFG-DXPGB 1 point
BGNDJBBNXFKTPGB 1 point
BJPTC-BCKNJ-DCPGB 5 points

~You can currently request a free subscription to Parenting the Early years right now. I just registered and mine went through OK so I would hurry for this offer ends. Just be sure to skip all the junk after you request your subscription.
This is the magazine that has had the 20% off coupons for Amazon lately!
You can still get free subscriptions to American Baby and Babytalk as well!

~I posted this sample a few weeks ago and I don’t know if it reset or if this is a new offer- but I was able to request it again.
Just click here and get a free sample of the Cheetos Mighty Zingers.

~This week the freebie for Raley’s/Bel Air shoppers is a free bag of frozen fruit pops with a minimum $10 precoupon purchase. This coupon is valid Friday-Sunday only.
There is also an e-coupon for Buy One Get One Free Kraft Sandwich Shop Mayo. The price last week was $1.99. If that price is still the same- you pay .99 each.

~Plum District is offering a $12 movie ticket for $6. You pay $6 and then get a gift voucher for Fandango for $12- so basically half off a movie.
There is a limit of 1 per person and it expires 10/28. You can redeem your code at Fandango.com once it arrives.
Plum District is yet another deal a day site in about 15 cities nationwide. It is worth registering with them though because they seem to offer deals you won’t see anywhere else- like a discounted Target gift card a few weeks ago.

~Run don’t walk to print this coupon because it is a really good one!! You need to have a Facebook account and then just like Athenos and you should be able to print a Buy One Get One Free Athenos Cheese coupon.
The best part about feta cheese is that it has a long shelf life. I usually have several of these in the fridge that I get for super cheap and they last for months.
I don’t think these are on sale at Safeway stores anymore but they do go on sale for as low as $2 a package fairly frequently so keep an eye out!
If you have any problems with the coupon try changing your browser. I got 2 coupons that don’t expire until 9/16.

~I haven’t mentioned this in awhile and now is the perfect time with school starting!
You can still get 140 custom labels from Vista Print for free- you need to pay roughly $3 for shipping. I have found these to arrive fairly quickly- about 2 weeks or less when I have ordered.
There are about a zillion designs and you can customize them anyway you like. These are normal address labels so they probably won’t hold up for the entire school year but at this price you can just keep replacing them.
To get started on your own little labels just head over to Vista Print.
You can select 140 address labels- and then choose the design you like.
Click on “advanced editing” just under your design to change the font, colors, size etc…

Complete Ladybug Nursery

This is seriously everything you need to complete your little girl's nursery. Everything is in EUC except for a few very minor flaws.

The bumper. Used for about 4-5 months. No spots or stains. Like new condition.
4 Crib sheets. These 3 shown and a red one that is on the bed. They do have some washwear because they are sheets, but have tons of life left. No spots or stains.

2 window valances.

Musical, spinning mobile.

Velour Blanket. Excellent condition. Crib comforter. Never been washed. It has hung over the rocking chair and never really been used in the crib.

Dust Ruffle. Excellent used condition except for about 3 inches where the fabric has pulled away from the netting. It can be fixed very easily with a few stitches or just tucked under and not seen.

Clothes Hamper. Perfect condition except for a one inch tear that is in the back and underneath so it doesn't even show.

2 rugs...a solid red and a ladybug pattern. The ladybug patterned rug has a few spots on it.

Lamp and piggy bank (or ladybug bank).

Nightlight

Light switch plate.

Mini lady bug tins. I used these for q=tips and things like that.

Ladybug shelf. Ladybug frame and ladybug figurine (holding a flower....very cute).
3 wooden, glittered wall hangings. 2 ladybugs and a dragonfly. Sooooo cute!!!
Changing table cover (pad not included....it will be sold with the changing table).

2 canvas wall hangings with ribbon.

***Diaper stacker included as well, I will add a pic later today.***

I will also include the removeable wall decals as long as I can get them off. I did a little test on a couple and it looks like they will come off with no problem.

I think I have accumulated close to $85 in Amazon gift cards just for searching the web…something I do anyway! You are really missing out if you are not searching through Swagbucks!

~If you are headed to a Regal Cinema today, 8/13, then you'll want to make sure you print off the coupon HERE to get a box of Raisinets for just a $1. The crazy thing about this is that 1 box of Raisinets is normally around $5 at the Theater.

It looks like Starbucks is offering free business cards as well that you can design.

~Yummy! Boston Market is offering up free smoothies on Saturday only with no purchase necessary. The downside is that it is only offered in the following states:
AZ
CA
CO
FL
GA
KS
MN
MO
NM
NE
NC
TX
VA
As always it doesn’t hurt to call and confirm. This says one per person, while supplies last at participating locations.. No coupon is needed- but here is a screen shot of the email I received just in case.

~Want to snaz up your facebook page? If so then you will want to check out Pagerage. It has totally FREE layouts for you and they just added some great NEW ones that I think you guys will like. Can't wait to play with this. Click HERE to get started!!!

~There is a coupon available to print to get 2 You Like It ice creams (ice cream + 1 mix in) for just $5.
That seems like a great deal to me and this would make a very inexpensive treat with the kiddos or for date night.
To find the coupon just leave your zip code blank and click on foods.

~Here is a new daily deal site called Eversave (- man these are just popping up left and right aren’t they?-) and you can score a pretty great deal on Organic products today.
They are offering a $30 gift certificate to Babo Botanicals for $12. Even better you can use the certificate for shipping charges! If you are new to Eversave they give you a $5 credit on your first purchase- so you actually pay $7 for a $30 certificate!
The products are totally organic and designed for infants and children. They also have gift packs for Moms to Be.
I know many of you are into Organic products and these are not inexpensive. I tested this by ordering a soap gift set and a bottle of shampoo/body wash. The total for those two items was $24 and shipping is $6. So basically a gift pack of soaps and a bottle of shampoo would be $7 total shipped to you. If you prefer to get the lotion or two hair care items, you would pay $7 for the gift certificate and then $2 extra- so a total of $9 for both items.
You can register for Eversave and get the daily deals emailed straight to you for your city. Even if your city is not listed it might still be worth registering. Many of these daily deals are available online to purchase so it doesn’t matter where you live. The $5 first time credit is currently available and saved in your account for one year. So if you pass on this deal you can get that $5 into your account to use on the next deal you like!

~You can score a new coupon for a Free Frutista Freeze from Taco Bell right over here.
This one is good with any purchase at Taco Bell and Taco Bell has tons of items for less than $1 so this is really a great deal!
To find the coupon, leave your zip code blank and click on local coupons.

~Click HERE for a coupon for $5 off your next $15 purchase at TGIFridays!!!

~If you hurry over to Clarins and like them on Facebook, you can enter to win a lipstick palette sample with four shades.
This is available to the first 5,000 only!

~There is a new e-coupon for Raley’s shoppers to use this weekend! This is a great one- get a free Kid’s Lunchbox (aka kid’s meal) from the Deli with your $10 pre coupon purchase.

~You can get a 1 year subscription to Parents from Amazon for $4- which is .33 an issue. This is on auto-renewal so that means you need to go back into your account after you order and cancel it or they will automatically charge you for a second year subscription. (If you forget don’t worry- Amazon will send you tons of email reminders).

~You can get a $2 off Little Snugglers coupon available. The $2.50/1 Pure and Natural coupon is still available as well.
I saw these by clicking on household with a blank zip code.

~If you’re struggling a great deal with your finances, deep in debt and feeling like you can never get ahead, I cannot highly recommend the Dave Ramsey Starter Special enough. The Dave Ramsey Starter Special includes The Total Money Makeover book, Financial Peace book, Dumping Debt DVD, Cash Flow Planning DVD, a cash envelope system and, for a limited time, Dave Ramsey’s Budgeting Software.
Right now, you can get all six products for only $44. The cheapest I’ve ever seen these is $60, so this is an exceptional deal!

~Get $3 off a $15 ice cream cake purchase at Baskin Robbins through 8/31

~If you still have the McDonald’s coupon for a free smoothie from the paper a few weeks ago, you can take that into Jamba Juice and they will honor the coupon as well! This is only available in a few select areas: Sacramento, San Diego, LA, SF, Denver, NY, Chicago and Miami through 8/15. You can also get a $1 off Jamba Juice coupon for the 30oz smoothies that is valid at any location.

~If you live near a Saks 5th Avenue store you might want to head over to to Facebook and like Fekkai now.
They will be sending an announcement next week to Facebook fans about registering to get a coupon for a free full size produce of your choice at Saks on August 26th only.
The product has a value of approximately $23 so this is a great freebie! I actually just used a sample of Fekkai shampoo and conditioner this morning and I was thinking how nice the products are.

~You can get a free tote bag from Goodbelly if you send an email to 5 friends suggesting they join the Goodbelly challenge.
You should also receive some high value coupons.

~Amazon is running a special right now- get 2 years of Redbook Magazine for just $8 total. Shipping is always free on magazines.
You can click here to have a look and be sure to select 24 issues for $8. That works out to .33 an issue. You should also be able to extend a current subscription by entering your information exactly as it is listed on your current subscription.

~Restaurant.com is at 80% off again, which means you get a $25 gift certificate for $2.
You can just head over to Restaurant.com and check out the restaurants in your area, then use promo code BIG at checkout.
Be sure to double check any fine print on the restaurant you select. Some have limited hours of availability for the certificates.

~There is a new coupon available for 10% off at Home Depot. This is good for purchases up to $2000- so you can save up to $200! Most Lowe’s Home Improvement stores will accept competitor coupons so you should be able to use it there as well.

~The Kroger Summer of Savings event is back. You can head over and register and then spin the wheel to see what prize you win!
The prizes are linked to your shopper card and last time there were free food products that people won. This sweepstakes lasts through 9/11 and you can play once per day!
Lucky Kroger shoppers let me know what you get!

~You can get a free sample of Extra Gum- this is a new flavor they are launching called Dessert Delights.
Head over here to get your sample, you need to enter promo code 353637. For some reason I had to reenter the security word four times before it would accept my request- so just keep trying if you find the same problem.

~Teaching your child the alphabet? Print some free ABC Flashcards.

~Through August 19th, Old Navy is offering a free lunch kit when you buy a backpack at $10.
It looks like this is in store only. You can also get a $10/50 coupon for Old Navy here

~Print a coupon for a free Starbucks Double Shot Energy+Coffee when you purchase another.

~Click on the “Like” button on the Barbara’s Facebook Page and you’ll be able to print a coupon for a free box of Barbara’s cereal when you purchase another.

~There is a new printable available for $4 off a Leapfrog tag book priced at $9 or more. We are bound to have another sale on these at Target soon- they occasionally price them as low as $9.99.

~There is a coupon for a free Dark Kiss lotion available at Bath and Body Works through 8/8. There is no purchase required and it is while supplies last.
Be sure to take the coupon here with you to the store.

~You can get a free sample of Earth’s Best baby formula right here.

~Sign up as a Franklin Foods consumer panel member and you’ll receive opportunities to participate in brief on-line surveys, provide feedback on new packaging concepts or take part in in-home product testing. You could also receive a first peek at new products and VIP coupons for products distributed in your area.

~The Allergy Superstore is offering a $10 off $10 promotion code when you use the link here. No promo code needed- the $10 will come off after you register to check out.
You can obviously get all sorts of allergy relief items but they also have quite a few other household and personal care items so it is worth looking around. I saw Seventh Generation, Burt’s Bees and lots of other great brands.
I tested this by ordering the Kiss My Face sunscreen for $9.71- my total after the $10 off discount was just $3.24 for shipping!! So this is a great way to get an excellent deal on some green/organic products or medication!
This code is supposed to run through the end of the month but I have a feeling it will be pulled quickly so I would get your orders in!

~There is a coupon for $10 off a $30 purchase at World Market through August 22nd.

~There is a new product from Kellogg’s called Mix It and you can get a .75/1 coupon when you take a brief survey. Apparently these are priced at $1 at Walmart- so they should be about a quarter.
It is a new product so I am sure many stores will be slow to bring it in. I know I haven’t seen these at any of my stores.

~Amazon has good prices on Silly Bandz right now and shipping is free.
You can get 24 packs of the following Bandz for $1.99 each:

Way Back When-esday!

I came across this picture the other day and decided to post it for WBW this week. This is Emily...my friend Karen's "little" girl at Drew's 2nd birthday party. Yes, that would be the party that I still hear about from time to time where the pigs and sheep roamed freely in my front yard, pony rides were in the back yard and the hay ride drove up and down my street (my neighbors love me...ha!). But this is sweet Emily way back then who is now a whopping (I'm guessing here) 12???? Hopefully Karen and Emily (who now live in Massachusetts, sniff) will read this and correct me if I am wrong! And for anyone who was wondering....that is Doug....my friend Brandi's husband pulling the horse! September 2002

Hello, 4th Grade.......

....it's nice to meet you!!! I'm sure we will get to know you better in the next few weeks! Let's hope we become great friends!
It just doesn't seem logical that Drew should be going into 4th grade! That's down on the big kid hall.....he doesn't belong down there. But he will be there tomorrow "with bells on"...like he just told me! Bittersweet!

Way Back When-esday!

This was Drew in 2007 on his first day of 1st grade. He looks so little, doesn't he??? Mrs. Hatch was his favorite teacher and guess what??? She has moved up to 4th grade so he will have her again this year. We are sooo excited. We love Mrs. Hatch (and she just found out she is pregnant so I get to plan another class baby shower...yay!!!).

I Scream, You Scream.....

....we all scream for ICE CREAM! We stopped at Bruster's the other night and the lady asked me if I wanted a little cone for Addi. I had forgotten they give those away to the littles for free. My first thought was "heck no" and then I thought "oh, what will it hurt?". So I said yes. Keith was shocked that I was just going to give it to her and not stress about her clothes a bit. But it didn't bother me at all (I WAS smart enough to order vanilla and not chocolate).
Keith put her on the bench and gave it to her and we didn't hear another peep. She thought she was so big. Drew and Addi both enjoying their ice cream cones!
Good to the last drop!
