Freebie Friday!

I am in a hurry this morning because Drew has me up and ready to go out the door to check out a yard sale down the street that he noticed (I think he noticed that it was full of toys). So without further ado.........

*****Today is Mega Swagbucks Day! Go here to sign up!******
Swagbucks has stepped up their program lately and are now giving away even more bucks and many more times a day than before. I think I have accumulated close to $85 in Amazon gift cards just for searching the web…something I do anyway! You are really missing out if you are not searching through Swagbucks!

~Museum Day is back again this year and we will see free entrance to a variety of museums nationwide on September 25th.
You can register now for a location near you and get entrance for 2 people totally free. It is important you keep your ticket as you need to present that to get in.

~Just a reminder that CVS is offering a free 10 page photo book this week. It is $7.99 and you get $7.99 in ECB back. Plus many people seem to be getting $3 off coupons in store for photo books- which turns this into a moneymaker!
You might want to double check your local ad just to be sure it is available in your area.

~And as usual we have a new Coach Factory Stores coupon available for 20% off everything through August 8th.
Find a Coach location near you here.

~This weekend you can use a 15% off coupon in Macy’s stores for select clearance items.
They have quite a few things on clearance online as well- you can also get free shipping on a $50 purchase of juniors clothing with code JRSTYLE.

~There are two new coupons for Huggies products:
Get $4/2 Huggies Little Movers or Snugglers
and Get $2.50/3 Huggies Wipes
Target had the wipes priced at $1.97 several weeks ago and I am really hoping they bring that sale back.

~Just a reminder- I posted about the toy clearance at Target a few weeks ago. Many stores should hopefully have marked things down to 75% off yesterday. This is a great time to think ahead to holiday gifts or just plan for any birthday parties you might have coming up.
Not all stores follow the same clearance schedule- so you can always just call your store and ask what the toy clearance is currently at. If it is at 75% off than you might want to head over quickly as the better items tend to sell out very quickly.

~The offer for a free box of Better Oats oatmeal is back- you can request a coupon here.~You can still get $10 concert tickets to various shows nationwide from Live Nation. These seem to change frequently so you might want to bookmark this page.

~There are two new coupons available for Yoplait Gogurt- these are great coupons especially since the value of Yoplait coupons have been getting lower and lower lately.
So head on over here to get an .85/1 Gogurt coupon
and then head over here to get a $1/1 coupon
These are typically on sale for about $2 so you should be able to get a very good deal!

~You can still get a $25 certificate to Restaurant.com for just $2 by entering code PLATE at checkout.
As always, you want to be sure to read the fine print of the restaurant you choose to be sure there are no restrictions.
Head over to Restaurant.com to have a look at the places available in your city!

~There are a number of coupons available for Lowe’s Stores for items like Brita and Bissell Cleaners.

~Just a reminder that the 10% off coupon is still available for Home Depot stores. I do not know how much longer this will last and many Lowe’s stores will accept competitor’s coupons- so you should be able to use it at either store!
Make sure to call ahead and double check if you aren’t familiar with your store. I have used these repeatedly at my store will no problems.

~Well this makes me want to run to Target right this minute.
Wonka Chocolate Bars are priced at $1.97 this weekUse the $1/1 any Wonka chocolate Target couponplus the $1/1 Wonka Chocolate bar printableand get them free!

~There is a printable coupon for $10 off a $20 purchase at Buca di Beppo. I am hoping this includes carry out because their portions are HUGE! I think this could make a very inexpensive dinner out (or if you have babies like me- dinner to go).

~This is such an awesome offer and I would take a look if you have missed out in the past!
You can head on over to Shutterfly and either create an account or log into your account.
Then select (3) 5×7 cards of your choice- you can mix and match whatever cards you want
Then enter code: SUMMERCARDS at checkout!
That should drop your price to just .99 and they are shipped right to you! You might think ahead to any events you have coming up- like birthdays, anniversaries etc.. and get the cards made now.
I absolutely love this because I don’t have to rush out and spend $4 for a card for the next birthday that comes along. I take advantage every single time these offers come along and have been very happy with the quality of the cards.

~Get up to 5 Camis per person for just $2 bucks each at Old Navy on July 29-31. This is in store only and apparently you can either give them the Old Navy coupon OR you can say Cami4Me at the register. Personally I am not taking any chances and I am printing out that coupon.

~Crocs has a code for the Olivia that takes the price down from $24.99 to $14.99. They are very limited in some colors and other colors have full inventory- so you might want to hurry to get your order in.
Just head over to Crocs and use code: OLIVIA1499. Then enter code: springfreeship which should work for free shipping. (Note the shipping does not come off until the very end.)

~If you have purchased the Pampers Dry Max diapers and have not been satisfied with your purchase- you can now submit for a full refund of your purchase price plus $1 extra for postage.
This is in response to lots of complaints about the new Dry Max diapers and I think it is great we can get refunded for at least one pack.
This offer is limited to one refund per household and you do need to have your original receipt. Write all of your information on a 3×5 card including the UPC off the package and mail it in to:
Pampers Dry Max Guarantee OfferPO Box 900082El Paso, TX 88590-0082
Or you can call 1800Pampers to speak with a customer service rep.

~Whataburger is offering free burgers for dine in only on August 3rd from 5-8pm. The catch is that you have to wear orange to get the freebie. No coupon needed!

~We have 5 more Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards points with code:
BJLKLQJQFKQBPGB

~There are several states that have sales tax free shopping weekends coming up in August. Each state will have guidelines for what purchases qualify but I thought I’d post the list by state for your reference. If you have any big purchases this might save you a little bit extra- West VA for example has up to $5000 in Energy Star products that qualify!

~If you or a family member are a member of the military and shop at Commissary stores, you can register for a free $60 Proctor and Gamble coupon booklet. Yeah! It looks like when you use the coupons at the commissary they also donate .25 per coupon to the USO.

~Also, you can request $25 in coupons from Con Agra when you spend $10 precoupon on a number of products. This includes Kid Cuisine, Slim Jim, Hunt’s and more- many of these items are extremely cheap this week at Target.

~There is a coupon available for .50 off Lay’s Kettle Cooked Chips when you register here. I have seen these on sale recently for $1.77- so as low as .77 with doubles.

~Apparently the .99 off any Coke 14-16oz coupon is available for a limited time only on Facebook. You need to send a message to a friend and they get the coupon. To get one for yourself you need to have them send a message back to you.

~Here are 5 more Huggies point:
BHSGSWKLGQRQPGB
You can collect these points even if you don’t have little ones in diapers. They can be redeemed for instant win prizes- like a cookware set right now.
You can also cash in for a free pack of Pull Ups, a tub of wipes or even a cookbook.

~There is a new $1/2 Fruit of the Loom coupon available for underwear or casual sportswear. This isn’t that high in value but we are seeing some really great prices right now on these types of things with back to school sales.

~The $2 off any size Biotrue coupon is back! I believe these are still $2.99 at CVS with a $2 ECB back through the 31st. You might double check for signs in your store- but the limit was 2 for the month of July on this offer.
You can also print the $2 off Target coupon and pay .99 for the 2oz bottles after both coupons.

~You can get Elle Magazine for $4.39 today from Best Deal Magazines. Get an extra 15% off with code: RENEW16 or PXCJ81- which brings your price down to $3.69. That is .30 per issue!
If you feel more comfortable ordering from Amazon- they have a year subscription on sale this week only for just $5!
Shipping is always free on magazines.

~The $3 off coupon for Huggies Box Diapers is back! The Huggies coupons have been few and far between lately so might as well grab this baby and hopefully we see a good sale.
I found this with a blank zip code and by clicking on household.

~Drew loves this stuff- so I am so happy to see a great deal!
Aquafresh Bubblegum flavor is regularly priced at $1.64 at my Target.Use the $1/1 printable couponplus the .50/1 Target couponand get it for .14!

~Rite Aid deals are coming soon but in the meantime, you can score a $5/25 coupon for Rite Aid. Just change the zip to 95677 and make sure to enter 50 miles right next to that and you should see it!

~The rebate for Olay items is back- get a $20 rebate when you spend $50 in moisturizers, facial treatments or cleansers. The rebate is valid from 7/23-9/3 only and you can get your rebate form here.
You can also get the $10 rebate when you spend $30 on Olay and you can request a $3 coupon for facial moisturizers here.

~If you like Hot Tamales candy, you can head over to play the instant win game. You just keep spinning the wheel and see if you win a free package of Hot Tamales. I tried about 4x and didn’t win but maybe you will have more luck.
You can win once per month.

~TheNaturalStore.com has a great offer right now- get $10 off a $10 order. I tested this with an item less than $10 and the discount worked but it does not cover shipping.
So basically you can get a $10 item for 50% off and shipped to your door with this offer which is a great deal! TheNaturalStore.com is part of drugstore.com and they have all sorts of items from Burt’s Bees to Equal Exchange Organic Coffee.
I checked and Seventh Generation diapers are $10.99- so basically you can get a pack of diapers for $5.98 shipped.
You must click THIS LINK to trigger the $10 off and it will automatically apply to your order. No promo code needed.
Let me know if you spot any other great deals!

I will leave you with something to bring a smile to your face (well, it did mine...but I know I am a little partial). I was trying on one of Addi's winter outfits just to see how it would fit. She did not like it one bit and was wiggling and running everywhere. I finally said.....not mean just very firmly, "Can you please stand still for ONE minute so I can take a picture. This was the response I got.
Literally, witihin 2 seconds...she was doing this? Can you say "mood swings"???? Have a GRWAT weekend!

Way Back When-esday!

The Eiffel Tower Dress. That is what Drew calls this ADORABLE dress that my friend, Lisa Murphy gave me at my shower for Addi (thanks sooooo much, Lisa). He has always loved this dress and when ever I let him pick out an outfit for her...he always picked this one. This is Addi in July 2009 @ 4 months.
So when it came time to pack up (and sell) lasts years summer clothes...I knew there was no way this cutie was going anywhere. So I put it away with her stuff to save. When I started re organizing her closet for this summer.....I picked it up and just hugged it...remembering how cute she looked in it. And then it came to me...why not let her wear it this year as a little bloomer set. So that's what we have been doing. Drew picked it out for her to wear the other day and I decided I needed to get some pics of her in it. Ummmm.......wrong. This girl does not stop moving and since I am still using a little point and shoot (with a delay) it is hard to get a good pic of her. The majority of the pics are an arm or a leg or part of an ear. So out of 18 pics I took the other day...these are the best 3 (and they are terrible). I still love this outfit on her....no matter how big she gets (sniff, sniff) This is Addi in July 2010 at 16 months.

Happy Birthday to.......

......the very best sister in the whole wide world! I really don't know what I would do without my sister. She is always there for me through everything (and there has been a lot of it these last 2 years). Happy Birthday, Jackie (who is probably lounging on the sunny beach of Destin as I type this)! Love you!!!!
And even though I don't have a pic (if he would come visit more often, I might have some recent pictures)...Happy Birthday to my big brother, Jeff today as well! Hope you have a great day!

Houseparty.com

I talked a little about Houseparty.com in an earlier post but didn't go into detail. This is a website that gives away kits for you to host parties to promote their product. They have different manufacturers all of the time and you just sign up for what interests you, fill out a little survey and if you are chosen...you will get some goodies in the mail for your party. So far I have seen: Rubbermaid, Bulle Eys BBQ (the one I did), Kleenex, Bic, Boboli, WII, Tollhouse and others. It's really kinda cool. I was chosen to host a Bulls Eye BBQ party. They really want everyone to do it on the same night, but the night that they had chosen was when we were out of town so I did mine this weekend. Keith invited some of the guys at work and their families to come. We swam, ate, talked, laughed.....oh, and got rained on. A big rain cloud materialized out of nowhere and then it came. Thunder, lightening...the works. But that was ok...we had a great time and it was nice to put faces with names!I made up little goody bags for everyone with: coupons (for free BBQ sauce), coozies, shot glasses (?) free music down loads and full bottles of BBQ sauce! Go check it out here!

~ I haven’t mentioned this one in awhile, you can head over and get a free subscription to Rouge magazine. This magazine has some good Proctor and Gamble coupons

~You can get a free subscription to Babytalk and American Baby magazine. They are made by Parents and Parenting magazine.
These usually have some great tips for the littles as well as a few coupons. I also like to check for clothing store coupons- they occasionally come with Gymboree or Children’s Place coupons.

~Fill out a short survey for UberSamples and they will send you a mix of free organic sample goodies (super-foods, nutritional bars, health foods, dietary supplements and beauty brands).

~Kmart has a birthday club that you can sign the kids up for. It looks like the perks are:

~There is a new coupon for Buy One Get One Free Better Oats oatmeal on Facebook. You just need to like them to get it. This is already priced really well at most stores- I know Safeway has it for $1 a box.
You can also get a .55/1 coupon on the Better Oats website.

~Just a reminder that Peet’s has $2 medium Freddos again today as part of the Fridays in July specials.
You can find a location near you here.

~In this week’s Staples ad, they have 3 rolls of Scotch Moving and Storage tape on sale for $6. (Page 2 of my ad)
There is a $3 off manufacturer coupon for packaging tape that will make these just $3. Most Staples stores will accept coupons- but if you aren’t sure you might call ahead and ask.

~Just a reminder if you missed this sale last week, you can still get 2 Entertainment Books for $5 each! These are the 2010 books that usually sell for about $40. Some of the coupons may already be expired but there should easily be $5 worth of coupons in there you can use.
They usually have grocery store coupons, fast food coupons and lots of entertainment venue coupons.
Shipping is $1 per book. You can head over here to have a look.

~This week Crayola products are on sale Buy One Get One Free or Buy One Get Two Free at Toys R Us stores. I found the washable crayons for $2.99- so .99 each.

This is advertised on the home page and it doesn’t say anything about a purchase requirement.

~Starting July 25th Staples will have backpacks on sale- buy any backpack and get a Staples gift card back for 100% of the purchase price via mail in rebate.
I wanted to give you plenty of time to prepare since I would suggest getting there early to get the best selection. This is a pretty good deal if you need to buy a backpack this year anyway.

The events vary according to location and you can head over here and enter your zip code to see what is available in your area.

I have several subscriptions from this company and have never had a problem.
Good Luck!

~You can get a free Smashbox lipgloss from select Sephora stores inside JC Penney. This is while supplies last and you can get the coupon and see the stores available here.
I was a little nervous about this coupon since it doesn’t have a date on it. Sometimes these are from last year and they circle back around- so just a warning if you plan to make a special trip you might call ahead to confirm.

~You can make a custom tote bag from Vista Print again- these are pretty sturdy and I posted about them awhile back. I got pretty favorable feedback from you guys on these bags the last time around. You can pick an image and add whatever text you like.

~There is a new coupon available for $1/2 Quaker Rice Snacks. This is actually a great coupon because I have seen the bags of rice cakes on sale for .99 at a few stores recently.
Supposedly, these are .49 at the Mega Event this week at Kroger- so free after coupon!

~Oh my word this sounds soo very good. July 29th you can head into Cheesecake Factory and get a slice for $1.50 with printed coupon. It is for dine in only.
You can also head in on the 30th and get a slice for half off.
Yummy!

~Get a coupon for a free package of Snikiddy snacks (note: these are sold at TRU/BRU- some stores will refuse to honor a printable free item coupon so I would not make a special trip just for this offer.)

~Get a free sample of Better than Ears Dog Treats from Walmart

~You can also get a free sample of Binaca from 9-10am PST by following the 3 steps here.
Restaurant.com has a new promo code to get 70% off gift certificates. You can get a $25 certificate for just $3 with code: TASTY.
They will drop the price a little lower in the next few weeks to 80% off however many restaurants tend to sell out of certificates. Head over to restaurant.com to have a look at what is available in your area.

Sadly Alaska and Hawaii have to pay $3.99.

~Philosophy fans can get $10 off a $50 purchase right now with promo code: 10off50 at checkout. Typically 20% is about the highest discount they offer so if you love these items, now is a good time to take advantage of the sale!

If you are chosen, they send you a box of goodies.....some to keep for yourself and some favors to give out at the party. I will let you know how it goes.......

Have a great weekend!

Way Back When-esday!

This is Taylor, Drew and Zac (Beth's nephew) at "Ms. Beth's pool" in July 2006. My bff, Beth lives in a huge neighborhood and they have the coolest pool EVER. We try to go there at least once a summer.

This was us this year! It was quite interesting taking Addison to the pool. Since we have a pool of our own and just walk out the back door, I am not used to packing everything up...so it was quite an ordeal.

Drew wanted me to take his picture as he came down the giant slide.

Drew and Connor having fun in the sun!

A VERY SLEEPY Addi and her "Auntie Beth". She was out before we left the parking lot!

Thanks, Beth for having us...we had a great time. I can;t wait until next summer when we can come again!

Kid's Bunco...Number 4!

We had our 4th Annual Kid's Bunco recently. Due to vacations and other minor mishaps...we had a small crowd this year, but I think the kids loved it just the same.
Addi, Katy and one of the two Suzy's....this is actually the real one of the 2, I think! (When Drew was about 3 or so in pre-school at McEachern Methodist, Suzy and her sister, Lily went there also. Suzy and Lily are only a year apart and look a LOT alike. Suzy is Drew's age and was in his class. One day he told me "Mommy, did you know there are 2 Suzy's?" LOL)

Roll it, Russ!Even the big kids love Kid's Bunco!
Addi wanted to play too!Somebody must have gotten a BUNCO!!
Fun, fun! After the game is over, everyone gets a prize!!!
Then, comes the part that EVERYONE enjoys the most....ice cream sundaes! YUMMY!
Smile, Taylor....you know you love it!

Swagbucks, Baby!!!

I know have hounded you to death about this but every time I get something for free (or very close to it), I just have to tell someone! I just ordered this new stroller for Addison for...........ready for it??????$1.94. Whoo Hoo!!!! I have accumulated enough Swagbucks to get it for almost free and with free shipping (love Amazon for that).....I paid less than $2 bucks out of pocket.

I am not spending any more SB until I start Christmas shopping (uuuggghhh) and will use what I have then for gifts!!!

Go right here to sign up and just start searching through them. It takes a little getting used to but after a few weeks, it just feels natural to use SB instead of Google.

Freebie Friday!

*****Today is Mega Swagbucks Day! Go here to sign up!******
Swagbucks has stepped up their program lately and are now giving away even more bucks and many more times a day than before. I think I have accumulated close to $25 in Amazon gift cards just for searching the web…something I do anyway! You are really missing out if you are not searching through Swagbucks!

~Yeah!! There is a new.75 off Goldfish Grahams coupon available. I have no idea why I am so excited about Goldfish but man these are good! The best price this week is at Walgreens for .99 a bag. You can take your coupons there to get them- or grab the ad and take it to Target or Walmart and ask for a price match!

~Amazon is offering $10 off a $50 purchase of Back to School clothes OR $25 off a $100 purchase. You also get free shipping on orders over $25- so a great time to get some things for the kiddos! You need to be careful that the items you select are from Amazon directly not a third party to take advantage of the promotion.
Just head over here to have a look and use code: 10SCHOOL on a $50 order or 25SCHOOL on a $100 order.

~There is a new rebate from Olay available through September 17th. You get $10 back on a $30 purchase of Olay, Secret, Venus, Pantene or Cover Girl products.
As always, this should be based upon your pre coupon totals and you can submit multiple receipts. The receipts must be dated 6/30-9/17. We have that great Buy One Get One Free Olay coupon from last week’s paper should should make this a great deal!

~If you are a Sam’s Club member, you can get a free sample of Axe Body Spray right over here.

~There is a new coupon I just in got in my email this morning from the Body Shop- for $5 off an order in stores or online. I don’t see a minimum purchase required. I know the Body Shop doesn’t have a lot of $5 items but I believe the pots of lip gloss are $8. You might find a better deal in stores or you can shop online here and use promo code: BODYBUCKS. If you find a Vitamin C product that you like, shipping is free.
If you hurry Body Shop has Wild Cherry Body Scrub and Body Butter for $5 each marked down from $20! That would make one of those items free! You have to pay shipping which is about $5- but if you like these products that is still 75% off of the retail price. (check final sale under specials).

~CVS is offering a free coupon for a hand sanitizer when you register. They announced this on Twitter but it doesn’t look like you need a Twitter account to get the free coupon. It will come via email so be sure to check your spam file if you don’t see it!

~This is a GREAT coupon, so I’d hurry and grab it! There is a new $2 off Smart Balance milk coupon available. These are priced around $2.99 at many stores which makes for very inexpensive milk! (Leave you zip code blank and click on beverages- you should see TWO coupons- so you can print 4 total!)

~You can get the little girls Gabby Crocs for just $9.99 right now. You also get a free Jibbitz with your order. Just head over to Crocs and enter code: BACK2SCHOOL at checkout. Then stack it with code springfreeship (all lower case) to get free shipping! The shipping will not come off your order until after you enter payment information.

~Now this sample I for sure signed up for and I hope it comes- although I can’t say I have ever put mushrooms on my face. If you head over to Origins it looks like you can request a sample of the new Mega Mushroom Skin Relief. The form also says enter to win so I am not sure what the deal is but I did get a confirmation that the sample was coming so we shall see!

~Just a reminder that the free 5×7 autofill photo book offer from Kodak is ending in a few days. ~If you head over to the Thymes Facebook page and like them, then you can leave a comment on the wall saying what your favorite wedding gift is to give.

~McDonald’s is also offering a $1 off coupon for the new Smoothies or Frappes. (Warning- this coupon is an ink hog.)

~There is a free sample available of Redken for Men Clean Spice Shampoo and Conditioner. Now these “samples” are odd because it says the first 20,000 will be entered to win. If you can spare the second to register I would really encourage it because the past 2 times they have had these exact offers I have received full size products in the mail from Redken (here and here). I know lots of you got the same products and it looks like it took about 3 months to get them. So maybe we will all get a nice surprise in the fall.

~It looks like the $10 off a $20 purchase at Kohl’s is back! These are available in select areas right on the front of today’s newspaper. The coupon can be peeled off and used in store through July 24th. If you live in the following states there is a good chance your paper might have them: CA, AZ, CO,GA, ID, NM, NV, and TX.

~I have posted this 10% off Home Depot coupon before, but it seems to have been fixed. Before when you registered for the 10% off Movers coupon it would only give you a few days to use it. I just tested it and now it is giving a few weeks. (Hopefully this is the case for everyone and I didn’t just get lucky). I used mine at Lowe’s since most stores will accept competitors coupons. If you don’t have any home improvement projects planned, I noticed my Lowe’s had great prices on fresh herbs and other plants.

~Old Navy.com is having a sale with up to 40% off. You can take an extra 15% off plus get free shipping on a $50 order with promo code: ONSAVE15.

~See Here is offering 25 free 4×8 photo cards right now when you head over here and use code: cards-36. There are tons of designs so you can make cards with photos as announcements or thank yous. You can also ditch the photo and add your own text, like an invitation. You will have to pay shipping of about $2.00 for the cards and they will come with envelopes. *If your shipping charge is much higher, just reduce the number to 20 cards and it should drop down to $2.49.
