The Twelve Days Of Christmas........

......for teachers, neighbors, grandparents, co-workers...or just anyone. I do this every year for Drew's teachers, although this year since he has Mrs. Hatch for the 2nd time...I will have to come up with something new. It will be kind of nice to have a break because although, this is so much fun to do (and they LOVE it)...it is a TON of work. I wanted to go ahead and post about it early this year in case someone is not (unlike me) a procrastinator and wants to get started.

I posted all of it last year so instead of reposting the whole thing...I am just going to link you to last year's post. If you have any questions...let me know! Hope your teachers enjoy it as much as ours do! Click here to see all 12 Days!

One Day of Thankfulness

Well, if I could add another day of thankfulness ....I would add that I am thankful to be alive. OMG! I have been soooooo sick for 2 days. It hit me at about noon on Thanksgiving day right before I started making the dressing. I had to lay down and I barely got up again until today (it's Saturday, I think). I had to give Keith step by step directions on how to cook everything (and he did quite well, I might add). I did go to Jackie's but slept almost the entire time (see pic above). Oh....and the worst of it all......I MISSED BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! Not only did I miss the shopping part but I missed the entire day. It was awful. Thank goodness Taylor stepped in and went with Jackie....but I told her not to get too cozy with the idea because next year...I will be back!! I am almost better but not completely yet!!! UUUGGGHHHH!

And even though this is a little late...I wanted to finish it because I had all of these pics already uploaded and ready to go! Soooo....I am so very, very thankful for my family!!! I love every one of them very much and don;t know what I would do without them!!! I know there are a lot of pics...but for one, there are lots of people to represent and two...i just kept thinking..."oh I have to include this one". Hee hee!!!

Two Days of Thankfulness

I am so, so thankful for my home! Since the economy took a drastic nosedive...it has really affected us for the last 2 years. Since Keith's business solely depended on the construction of homes...and there wasn't any...well, we had no business. He has a new job and hopefully the economy as a whole will start looking up. I know a LOT of people have lost their homes through all of this, which makes me all the more thankful for mine. Here are some pics of things that remind me of home!
