Drew cracks me up. Ok, I know all kids crack up their own parents and other people just roll their eyes and say..."Here she goes again". But he really does make me laugh. I try to shield him from the bad goings on in the world, but there are some things (well, a lot really) that he just seems to find out any way. I mean I don't let him watch the news and I always pause Nancy Grace when he comes in the room...but he just knows about things.So the other day, he started asking me about the economy. He used the word economy too. He wanted to know what was up with it. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to explain to him (the best I could...I'm kinda puzzled by it all too) about how houses aren't selling and that just trickles down. If the construction workers aren't working, then they can't go out to eat or shopping and then those people lose their jobs. So on and so on.......
He looked as if he was getting it. And then after a good long pause, he says to me......"Well, can't they just print more money or do they not want to cut down any more trees?"
If it could just be that easy........

Sounds like a good idea to me!! I used to think the same thing - if we're out of money, just make some more:)
